style=\"color:#14903a;text-transform:uppercase\">Standard Solvent Naphtha<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Solvent naphtha, which can be divided into light and heavy types, are aromatic hydrocarbon solvents primarily made from C9, C10 and C10-C13 aromatic compounds. These products result from the reforming process and have a high solvating power. <br><br>DHC Solvent Chemie offers C10 aromatics in normal and low naphthalene (&lt; 1%) quality, C10-13 aromatics only in low naphthalene (&lt; 1%) quality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Primary applications\/processes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Solvents for various natural and synthetic resins, including alkyd resins and epoxy resin esters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solvents for printing inks in the textiles and paper industries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solvents and thinners for numerous paints, varnishes and lacquers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solvents for the production of herbicides and insecticides<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solvents for fuel and process additives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color\" style=\"color:#14903a;text-transform:uppercase\">LOW-NAPHTHALENE SOLVENT NAPHTHA (ND)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Heavy solvent naphtha in the usual market quality has a naphthalene content of up to 8% by weight. On the basis of recent research, products with higher naphthalene concentrations of \u2265 1% by weight have been classified since November 2005 as being harmful to health, and possibly carcinogenic, and are to be labelled H351 \u201cSuspected of causing cancer\u201d. The toxicological assessment does not apply to products with a naphthalene content of &lt; 1% by weight. <br><br>Our products heavy solvent naphtha ND, with a naphthalene content of &lt; 1% by weight, and heavy solvent naphtha LN, with a naphthalene content of &lt; 0.1% by weight, as well as any preparations produced with them, are therefore not affected and remain exempt from labelling.
